Registered Nurse IR - Syracuse, New York

A registered nurse with expertise in interventional radiology is needed to support neurovascular patient care. This contract opportunity involves working in a specialized neuro interventional radiology setting, focusing on advanced procedures such as angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatments.

Position Details

• Type: Contract (16 weeks)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: 10-hour shifts
• Call: Rotational on-call and weekend call requirements
• Holidays: Rotational as assigned
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active and clear RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Neuro ICU experience necessary
• Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in neuro interventional radiology, cath lab, or radiology IR experience
• Proficient in using CERNER for charting
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing neurovascular procedures
• Monitor and assess patients throughout endovascular procedures and recovery
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in rotational on-call and weekend coverage as required
• Adhere to hospital dress code and professional standards
