Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Gilbert, AZ

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to support a well-established retail pharmacy chain operating multiple locations in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. This role is perfect for pharmacists seeking flexible, part-time work, helping cover call outs, vacations, and volume spikes during peak times.

Responsibilities Include

• Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy setting
• Collaborating with a strong technician support team to provide exceptional patient care
• Participating in training sessions, including one initial 8-hour training shift, with additional training as needed
• Administering immunizations, consistent with your scope of practice and privileges
• Utilizing QS1 pharmacy management software to manage prescriptions and patient records
  
  

Pharmacy operations typically run Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM, with some locations closing at 8 PM. While shifts and hours vary based on need, the ideal candidate can commit to 2-4 days per week.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience; candidates with 5 years preferred for top compensation
• Active Arizona pharmacy license without restrictions
• Immunization privileges and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is a plus
