Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology and med/surg patients utilizing a primary nursing care model.
- Administer chemotherapy under strict protocol following certification requirements.
- Monitor vital signs regularly (every 8 hours; every 4 hours for remote telemetry patients).
- Collaborate closely with a supportive charge nurse team and interdisciplinary care members.
- Use Meditech electronic medical records for accurate patient charting.
- Communicate efficiently using hospital-issued iPhone systems to coordinate patient care.
- Active RN licensure with solid medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Chemotherapy certification is highly preferred.
- ACLS certification is an advantage.
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Night shift hours from 7 PM to 7 AM.
