Qualifications And Experience
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New Mexico.
- Experience in pediatric and/or adolescent Occupational Therapy, ideally in school settings.
- Comfortable working with both high school and younger children.
- Knowledge of home health occupational therapy practices is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong documentation and time-management abilities.
- Provide direct therapy services to assigned students across elementary and high school populations.
- Evaluate students to determine individualized therapy needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student goals.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP and team meetings.
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies to maximize student success in both school and home environments.
