IV Compounding Certified Pharmacy Tech | Kennesaw, Georgia

This opportunity is for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy setting in the Hiram, GA area. The role focuses on the preparation and customization of non-sterile medications such as creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions, adhering strictly to USP guidelines.

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time (30-40 hours) with part-time options available
• Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. 7 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. 2 p.m.
• Located in Hiram, GA
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound non-sterile medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
• Weigh and measure ingredients with precision; mix compounds following established protocols
• Package, label, and document all compounded medications in master logs
• Maintain and clean compounding equipment in compliance with sanitation and PPE standards
• Adhere to strict safety and quality control requirements to ensure patient safety
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician license required
• At least one year of experience in non-sterile compounding
• Familiarity with pharmacy technician duties in retail settings
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy
