CVOR RN in West Monroe, LA

An opening travel assignment is available for a Registered Nurse with CVOR expertise in Monroe, Louisiana. This 13-week contract position involves providing skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac surgical environment. The role supports two surgeons across two CVOR rooms and one hybrid operating room, handling complex cardiac surgery procedures. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing for a balanced workday.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and assist surgeons during cardiac surgeries in CVOR and hybrid OR settings
• Monitor and manage patient status throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and sterile environment
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory standards
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience preferred
• Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficient with cardiac surgery procedures and hybrid OR technology
