- Prepare and assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac status throughout surgery, collaborating closely with the surgical team.
- Manage surgical equipment and instruments specific to cardiovascular procedures.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care and education to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Promote patient safety and advocate for best practices in surgical nursing.
- Current RN license with credentials specific to cardiovascular OR nursing.
- Proven experience as an RN in a CVOR or equivalent surgical nursing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical instruments, and perioperative nursing care.
