Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services across various school settings, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high school.
- Support early intervention initiatives with itinerant morning sessions and building-based afternoon services.
- Manage individualized caseloads with a focus on general education and special programs.
- Conduct district speech-language evaluations, particularly at the high school level.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathology License is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in varied educational settings.
- Strong evaluation skills are highly desirable.
- Open to both Certified SLPs and Clinical Fellows; not suitable for SLPA or virtual positions.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Hours vary by school level, generally between 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM with a paid 30-minute lunch break.
- Early Childhood: 8:25 AM 3:55 PM
- Elementary: 8:30 AM 4:00 PM
- Middle School: 7:40 AM 3:10 PM
- High School: 7:15 AM 2:45 PM
- Contract begins August 26, 2026, with potential early start for professional development.
- Contract concludes June 10, 2027.
