Schedule And Hours
- 36 hours per week
- 7:00pm – 7:30am shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage
- Start date: 5/26
- Active RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a CVICU setting (required)
- Strong clinical skills caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions
- Critical thinking and effective communication skills
- Adaptability and willingness to float between the CVICU and ICU as needed
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intensive cardiovascular monitoring and interventions
- Perform comprehensive assessments and manage patients with advanced hemodynamic support devices
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and respiratory therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress, responses to interventions, and coordinate care transitions
- Provide support and reassurance to patients and families during challenging situations
