1. Context & Role Reality (Beyond the JD)
This is a senior Client Partner / Portfolio CEO role responsible for running and growing a large, complex Capital Markets services account at a Tier‑1 financial institution.
This is not:
- A generic sales role
- A strategy/advisory role
- A delivery‑only leadership role
The successful candidate must independently own the account, operate with high autonomy, and serve as the single point of accountability across:
- Revenue & P&L
- Delivery governance
- Executive client relationships
- Risk, regulatory, and escalation management
This is a farming role focused on expanding an existing account, not hunting for new logos.
2. Non‑Negotiable Requirements (Hard Filters)
Please only submit candidates who clearly meet ALL of the following:
✅ Capital Markets experience
(investment banking, markets, trading, risk/regulatory, securities, post‑trade — not just “financial services”)
✅ End‑to‑end account ownership
Revenue, margin/P&L, delivery governance, and executive engagement
✅ Multi‑year stewardship of a large, regulated account
Demonstrated stability and accountability in high‑pressure environments
✅ Proven growth within an existing client
Clear examples of wallet expansion over time
✅ Daily onsite presence in NYC
High‑touch, in‑person engagement is mandatory (client meetings, dinners, executive forums)
✅ Executive‑level credibility
Ability to operate confidently with CIO/CTO/COO and business heads at Tier‑1 banks
3. Strong Preference / Ideal Background
Candidates are most compelling when they have:
- Ownership of $20M annual services portfolios (larger is better)
- Experience with Tier‑1 banks (Goldman Sachs peers: JPMC, MS, Citi, BNYM, etc.)
- Background in large GSIs (Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc.)
- A technology foundation (engineering / computer science background strongly preferred)
- Credibility across Cloud, Digital, Data & AI in a Capital Markets context
- Experience navigating regulatory, audit, and risk‑sensitive environments
4. Profiles We Will Actively Reject (Please Filter Out)
We have already seen and rejected many profiles in these categories:
❌ Sales‑only / quota‑driven hunters (enterprise sellers, SaaS AEs)
❌ Strategy or advisory‑only leaders without delivery/P&L ownership
❌ Delivery‑only leaders (PMO, infra, ops, program heads)
❌ Technologists or architects without commercial accountability
❌ “Client Partner” titles that did not include P&L delivery ownership
❌ Candidates unable to clearly articulate sustained account ownership
Salary : $175 - $240
