Role: Controls/GRC Specialist (Banking – Infrastructure Controls)
Location: Charlotte, NC/Chandler, AZ – 3 Days Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Review and rationalize existing infrastructure controls
- Rewrite and standardize control documentation
- Identify redundant or outdated controls
- Partner with operations teams to align controls with real-world processes
- Design controls that are measurable, testable, and audit-ready
- Support control testing, validation, and gap analysis
Qualifications
- Strong experience in GRC / Controls / Operational Risk
- Hands-on expertise in control design, documentation, and testing
- Experience with SOX or similar regulatory frameworks
- Background in banking or regulated environments
- Ability to translate technical processes into control language
Nice to Have
- Exposure to infrastructure operations (incident, change, monitoring, backups)
Experience in control remediation or transformation initiatives
