- 5 years in technology operations, infrastructure support, or production engineering at a major financial institution (GSIB, large regional, or equivalent).
- Direct experience with incident management, problem management, change management, or observability/monitoring processes in a regulated environment.
- 2 years working with technology controls, operational risk, or technology risk functions. You understand risk assessable units, control self-assessments, and evidence requirements.
- Ability to write control statements that are precise, testable, and audit-defensible. Not policy language. Operational control language.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes as they operate in financial services. Not textbook ITIL. Real-world, regulated, audited ITIL.
- Excellent written communication. Controls must be clear to auditors, examiners, and operations staff alike.
