Workday HCM ERP Implementation Consultant (Higher Education)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM ERP Implementation Consultant to support a higher education client through a full lifecycle implementation. This role will partner closely with HR, Payroll, and academic stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy Workday solutions aligned with higher education business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM, including configuration, testing, and deployment
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and academic units to assist with system design and solution alignment
- Research and recommend best practice configurations across core modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Absence
- Assist with data migration, validation, and system integration efforts
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and UAT test plans; troubleshoot and resolve defects
- Create user documentation and support training initiatives
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and system optimization recommendations
- Assist Data Center team with troubleshooting PeopleSoft HR as needed
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Workday HCM configuration and business process frameworks
- Proven experience supporting ERP implementations within higher education environments
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and testing methodologies
- Proficiency with SQL
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a contract environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM systems
Salary : $80 - $90
