Our client is a leading automation solutions provider. Based out of Columbia, SC, they are looking to hire a Supply Chain/Materials Planner on a full-time, permanent basis.

Required Skills & Experience
· BS or BA degree OR APICS certification OR 5 years in Planning and/or Purchasing in a Manufacturing environment (or equivalent mix of education and experience)
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Working knowledge of MRP, JIT, and Kanban
· Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools
· Experience using Oracle ERP
Desired Skills & Experience
· Familiarity with valves and other manufacturing processes

Daily Responsibilities
· Plan, release, and reschedule supply to meet demand, capacity, and material availability
· Manage customer order commitments (acknowledgment, date management, expediting)
· Own material planning for assigned parts (order execution, attribute updates, return-to-vendor coordination)
· Improve on-time delivery, lead times, and inventory health via proactive planning
· Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional partners to resolve supply issues and support procurement initiatives
Salary : $75 - $90
