Travel Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) – Increased Pay Rate
Location: Carthage Area Hospital
Job Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / Facility Scheduling)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract at Carthage Area Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for mothers during labor and delivery, as well as providing newborn care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
- Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures.
- Assess and care for newborns immediately after birth.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience.
- Newborn care experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification preferred.
- STABLE certification preferred.
