Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Waterville, ME (Genesis Healthcare Facilities)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Shifts Available: Day, Evening, and Night Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Pay Rate
$17.00 – $21.00 per hour
(Pay varies based on shift, experience, and tax terms.)
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join Genesis Healthcare facilities in Waterville, Maine. The CNA will provide direct resident care and support daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a Long-Term Care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
- Take and record vital signs as directed.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification required.
- Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts.
