β¨ What Youβll Do
πΎ Teaching & Player Development
β’ Provide private and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults
β’ Teach across various surfaces (indoor and outdoor courts)
β’ Adapt instruction to all skill levels while maintaining proper technique and safety
β’ Support and grow junior development programs

Member Experience & Programming
β’ Coordinate and promote adult leagues, mixers, and tennis socials
β’ Assist with tournaments and special tennis events
β’ Supervise events and ensure a fun, engaging atmosphere
β’ Build strong relationships with members and guests
π Pro Shop & Court Operations
β’ Answer phones, book court reservations, and schedule lessons
β’ Process member purchases and lesson billing
β’ Assist with daily operations of the tennis facilities
β’ Maintain organization and cleanliness of courts and pro shop
π οΈ Equipment & Facility Support
β’ String, re-grip, and perform basic racket repairs
β’ Assist with court maintenance and general facility upkeep
β’ Ensure equipment and playing areas are in excellent condition
π Team Contribution
β’ Promote a positive and professional work environment
β’ Attend staff meetings and contribute to program development
β’ Collaborate with the Director of Tennis on scheduling and events
β’ Complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:πΌ What You Bring
β’ College degree preferred; background in Physical Education or Sports Management a plus
β’ 2β3 years of competitive playing and tennis instruction experience
β’ Previous supervisory experience preferred
β’ Experience running junior programs strongly preferred
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
β’ Player rating of 4.0 or higher
π Certifications
β’ USPTA or PTR certification required
β’ Knowledge of court maintenance and facility operations preferred
πͺ Physical Requirements & Work Environment
β’ Ability to demonstrate and control swing speed during instruction
β’ Stamina to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
β’ Continuous standing, walking, running, bending, and repetitive motion
β’ Ability to lift and move equipment and use hand tools as needed
