β¨ What Youβll Do
π§ Technical Expertise & Maintenance
β’ Perform advanced maintenance and repairs across building systems
β’ Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including thermostats and programming
β’ Maintain plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and ventilation systems
β’ Complete general repairs including carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixtures
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex facility and equipment issues
β’ Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) where applicable
βοΈ Facilities Operations
β’ Maintain club buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to high standards
β’ Ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently
β’ Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
β’ Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
β’ Use and maintain power tools and specialized equipment safely
π· Leadership & Team Support
β’ Promote a positive and professional work environment
β’ Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to less experienced team members
β’ Represent the Engineering Department when leadership is not present
β’ Communicate effectively with all departments and team members
π Administrative & Safety Responsibilities
β’ Document work orders and communicate updates clearly
β’ Maintain an organized and safe work environment
β’ Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards
β’ Ensure safety of members, guests, staff, and property at all times
β’ Respond effectively in emergency situations
πΌ What You Bring
β’ High School diploma or GED required
β’ 4 years of maintenance experience in a commercial or institutional setting preferred
β’ Strong HVAC experience or certification highly preferred
β’ Post-secondary technical training (electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry) a plus
β’ Working knowledge of multiple trades and building systems
β’ Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
β’ Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) preferred
β’ Knowledge of local and national building codes preferred
β’ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
π Certifications (Preferred)
β’ EPA 608 Certification
β’ HVAC Certification
β’ Additional trade or technical certifications
πͺ Physical Requirements & Work Environment
β’ Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting
β’ Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally
β’ Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
β’ Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
β’ Exposure to mechanical systems, chemicals, noise, and temperature extremes
β’ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including snow removal
