I’m currently partnering with a growing, PE-backed distribution company in Addison that is looking to add a General Ledger Manager to its accounting team.
This is a highly visible role supporting a multi-location operation with strong leadership, excellent culture, and real long-term growth potential as the company prepares for a possible public transaction in the coming years.
This opportunity reports into an experienced and well-respected accounting leader who is known for mentorship, collaboration, and developing talent. The role will also directly manage one team member and offers exposure to a variety of projects beyond the day-to-day accounting responsibilities for someone looking to continue growing their career.

Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office
Compensation:
Up to $125K base 10% bonus
What they’re looking for:
• 5 years of accounting experience
• CPA preferred, but open to candidates pursuing certification or with parts passed
• Public accounting industry combination ideal, though strong straight public backgrounds will be considered
• SAP experience is a plus
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading general ledger activities across multiple distribution centers
• Managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Supporting financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Partnering cross-functionally on inventory, fixed assets, leases, and reporting
• Driving process improvements and efficiencies
• Supporting audits and maintaining GAAP compliance
• Mentoring and developing accounting staff
Industry experience within distribution, consumer products, manufacturing, or building materials is helpful but not required.
