What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager- Healthcare position at SNI Financial?
I’m partnering with a rapidly scaling, well-capitalized healthcare organization that is actively expanding across the U.S. through acquisitions. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a visible, hands-on role supporting a multi-site platform.
This organization has experienced significant growth over the past few years, more than doubling its footprint and continuing to expand aggressively. Backed by a major public parent, they offer the stability of a large enterprise with the agility and culture of a growing platform.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to support a portfolio of practice locations across the country. This is a highly dynamic role that blends operational accounting, business partnership, and exposure to ongoing M&A activity.
You’ll work closely with leadership at both the corporate and practice level, playing a key role in ensuring accurate financials, improving processes, and supporting decision-making across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Oversee accounting activities for multiple practice locations across the U.S.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner with practice administrators, physicians, and executive leadership
• Assist with payroll, AP, billing, and day-to-day accounting where needed
• Evaluate and improve processes, controls, and reporting structures
• Support integration of newly acquired practices
• Travel periodically (a few days per month) to assigned locations
What We’re Looking For
• Accounting Manager (or strong Senior ready for the next step)
• Experience in healthcare, multi-site, or multi-entity environments preferred
• Comfortable being hands-on while also operating as a business partner
• Strong communication skills with ability to work across all levels of the organization
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting processes
• CPA is a plus, but not required
Why This Role Stands Out
• High-growth environment with continued acquisition activity
• Strong leadership team with a track record of developing talent
• Blend of corporate accounting and operational exposure
• Backed by a large, well-established parent company
• Clear path for growth as the platform continues to scale
Location & Compensation
• Southlake, TX (hybrid; flexibility outside of close)
• $115K–$125K base ~20% bonus target
