Title: Senior Payroll Analyst
Location: Wilton, CT (Hybrid)
Potential Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 bonus
Overview:
The Senior Payroll Analyst will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a small team. This position requires a detail-oriented, task-driven professional with strong leadership capabilities and experience managing multi-state payroll, including California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily payroll tasks and ensure timely, accurate processing for 1,000 employees
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, with emphasis on California requirements
- Supervise and guide two payroll administrators, providing mentorship and support
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and report directly to the Director of Payroll
- Assist in consolidating payroll processes for two entities
- Utilize newly implemented automated time sheet systems to streamline operations
- Handle payroll for multiple states and entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Prepare and review payroll reports, audits, and reconciliations
Qualifications:
- 5 years of payroll experience, including multi-state and California payroll
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations
- Experience with payroll systems and automated time tracking tools
- Proven ability to lead or mentor team members
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
