LOCATION: Redmond, WA
SCHEDULE: 10am - 4pm; must be flexible to work weekends
PAY: $24 - $25

Key Responsibilities
- Trim, debone, and cut beef, pork, poultry, and other meats into required portions
- Prepare ground meat, chops, roasts, steaks, and other cuts following established quality guidelines
- Weigh, package, price, and label finished meat products
- Keep meat display cases neat, appealing, and fully stocked
- Help customers choose meat products and offer suggestions upon request
- Respond to customer inquiries about cuts, cooking techniques, and preparation tips
- Safely use slicers, grinders, saws, scales, and other meat department tools
- Check products regularly for freshness, quality, and expiration
- Rotate stock and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and sanitary at all times
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food handling
- Store meat items correctly and ensure proper temperature control
- Reduce waste by using efficient cutting and handling methods
- Support receiving and restocking of meat department supplies when needed
- Deliver courteous and professional service to all customers
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or in a grocery meat department is a plus
- Solid knife handling skills and familiarity with different meat cuts
- Capable of operating meat-processing machinery safely
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Understanding of proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Consistent and dependable attendance record
- Willingness to work in cold or refrigerated conditions
- Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Capable of lifting and moving products as required
