Job Summary
We are looking for a Kafka Tester with strong API automation skills to test distributed, event-driven applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in Apache Kafka, REST API testing, automation frameworks, and backend validation to ensure reliable data flow between microservices.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Kafka producers and consumers for message integrity and reliability.
- Validate Kafka topics, partitions, offsets, and message delivery.
- Perform API testing using REST APIs.
- Develop and maintain API automation test scripts.
- Validate JSON/XML request and response payloads.
- Perform end-to-end testing involving APIs and Kafka messaging.
- Execute regression, integration, and system testing.
- Analyze Kafka logs and troubleshoot message failures.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business teams.
