Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Vineyard Workers to join our SKYE Estates team. As a Vineyard Worker, you will play a crucial role in the cultivation and maintenance of our vineyards, ensuring the health and productivity of our grape crops. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working in an outdoor environment.
Duties
- Perform daily vineyard tasks such as planting, pruning, and harvesting grapes.
- Operate and maintain vineyard equipment, including forklifts and irrigation systems.
- Assist in the repair of equipment as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
- Monitor plant health and implement necessary measures for pest control and disease management.
- Maintain and utilize safety protocols.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring and mixing fertilizers or pesticides accurately.
Experience
- Previous experience in vineyard work or agriculture is preferred but not mandatory.
