Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Front Office Manager who will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our front office team at SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards of service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front office operations, including guest check-in/check-out procedures.
- Ensure outstanding guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing personalized service.
- Assist with kitchen sales, inventory and quality control ensuring the kitchen is operating to safety guidelines and property policies.
- Maintain accounts and standard processes..
- Maintain general retail store, sales, reordering and inventory.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front office staff to enhance performance and service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services for guests.
- Implement Resort policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in resort management systems and software applications related to front office operations. Excel, Microsoft, and Word, Teams.
- Preferred knowledge of the ResNexus booking systems, and reporting systems.
- Experience in retail and inventory management.
- TABC certificate. familiar with alcohol management and sales.
- Food handlers certificate.(this can be acquired at time of employment)
- Strong background in guest services within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort setting.
- Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, along with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Proven experience in hospitality management with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
