Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include managing guest arrivals and departures, processing transactions, and assisting with various operational tasks and front desk duties to enhance the guest experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the facility and services offered.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and processing payments accurately through POS systems.
- Assist guests with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs while ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent communication skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct tours and provide information on services to promote sales and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office and retail area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available for guests.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of customer service.
- Utilize basic math skills to manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
