Position Summary
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and performance of all food and beverage operations within a luxury resort. This includes restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, in-room dining, and pool or beach outlets.
This executive role ensures exceptional service standards, innovative culinary and beverage programming, and strong financial performance while delivering a world-class guest experience aligned with luxury brand expectations.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, hands-on leader with extensive luxury resort experience and a passion for hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Oversee all F&B outlets, including signature restaurants, casual dining, bars, banquets, and in-room dining
- Develop and execute F&B strategies aligned with the resort’s positioning and guest profile
- Ensure seamless, high-touch service across all outlets and experiences
- Collaborate with Culinary leadership to drive innovation and consistency
Financial Performance
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance
- Drive revenue growth through creative programming, upselling, and outlet optimization
- Monitor and control food cost, beverage cost, and labor expenses
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Maintain luxury service standards aligned with Forbes Five-Star or AAA Five Diamond expectations
- Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all outlets reflect the resort’s brand identity and service philosophy
- Support VIP experiences, special events, and high-profile functions
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop F&B managers and service teams
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and engagement
- Provide coaching, performance management, and leadership development
- Ensure proper staffing levels and labor optimization
Sales, Events & Collaboration
- Partner with Sales & Catering to maximize banquet and event revenue
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal programming
- Collaborate with Rooms, Spa, and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain liquor law compliance and responsible alcohol service standards
- Oversee quality assurance, brand audits, and operational standards
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in luxury hotels or resorts
- Proven success managing multi-outlet F&B operations and large banquet programs
- Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in Forbes Five-Star or AAA Five Diamond resorts
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in destination or seasonal resort markets
- Experience managing union teams (if applicable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field

Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
