Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician/ Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of the property’s facilities, systems, and equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure proper operation
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of property assets
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, inspections, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Support setup and breakdown for events, including lighting, sound, and equipment needs
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools

• 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or a related field (hospitality experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of maintenance issues
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various conditions
