Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician
Location: Granbury, TX then Brock, TX
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Job Summary:
Skilled Performance is seeking a team of skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians to support Manufacturing of oilfield equipment. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with electrical tools, an understanding of basic instrumentation tasks, and the ability to read and interpret tape measures and wiring schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks.
Use basic hand tools and measurement devices, including tape measures, to complete installations and repairs.
- Work with Shipboard Cable and run wire and cable
- Read and interpret basic wiring schematics and technical drawings.
- Assist in the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and instrumentation equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times while working on site.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in using basic hand tools and measurement tools (tape measure required).
- Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles.
- Ability to read and understand basic wiring schematics (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing/fabrication experience in an E&I role.
- Technical or trade school certification in electrical or instrumentation fields.
- OSHA or other safety training certifications.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/Fabrication Shop
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
