Job Title: Pipe Hanger
Location: Granbury, TX then to Brock, TX
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
Shift: 5am-6pm
Compensation: Based on Experience
Job Summary:
Skilled Performance is seeking Weld/hang pipe hands to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in pipe installation, support fabrication, and interpreting technical drawings. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and hang pipe according to project specifications and drawings
- Use hand and power tools including torque wrenches, sockets, and impact guns
- Accurately read and interpret tape measures and drawings
- Level and square pipe during installation and bolt-up processes
- Identify and work with various types of valves, pumps, and piping components
- Build and install pipe supports as needed
- Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable standards
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading tape measures to precise specifications
- Familiarity with standard hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Experience identifying different valves and pumps
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Welding experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the day
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
