What You'll Do
You'll play a critical role keeping our Hot Mill running continuously, rotating between key operations like the Hot Mill Operator and Upcoiler positions. Your day will include:
- Operating the mill to reduce aluminum coils to proper specifications
- Preparing coils for finishing at the Upcoiler station
- Cutting and preparing slabs using overhead crane hoists and saws
- Coiling, banding, and marking finished coils for storage
- Inspecting coils and metal for quality defects and reporting concerns
- Assisting with roll changes, coolant tank cleaning, and general equipment maintenance
- Performing preventive maintenance on mill equipment, including lubrication systems and filters
- Completing shop paperwork and daily production tracking
- Operating a forklift to store finished coils
What We're Looking For
- Previous machine operation experience preferred
- A strong work ethic and reliability
- Flexibility with scheduling, including a willingness to cross-train
- A positive attitude and team-player mindset in a fast-paced, safety-first environment
- Good communication skills
- Pride in keeping a clean, organized workspace
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus β but not required. If you're trainable and motivated, we'll teach you the rest.

Work Environment
This is a hands-on plant role with exposure to heat, noise, moving equipment, and forklift traffic. Required PPE includes safety glasses and safety shoes (we've got you covered on both).
