Ready to put your electro-mechanical skills to work on equipment that actually matters? As a Maintenance Technician, you'll keep the machinery running that produces some of the highest-quality aluminum coils in the Midwest and you'll have the autonomy and variety that skilled tradespeople crave.
What You'll Do
No two days look the same. You'll work across a wide range of complex industrial equipment, including:
- Proactive and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and machine reliability
- Diagnosing and repairing electronic circuits, relays, transformers, and other electrical components
- Troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic controls, generating equipment, large switchboards, motors, rollers, and complex gear reducers
- Reading and applying blueprints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) for new construction and troubleshooting
- Rigging and rebuilding machinery — assembly and disassembly of major components
- Working safely in confined spaces and demanding industrial environments
- Following strict LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of electro-mechanical experience in an industrial maintenance setting required
- Strong understanding of LOTO and general safety processes
- Experience with heavy industrial equipment (cranes, forklifts, presses, furnaces)
- Familiarity with PLCs and VFDs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Machining experience a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and think fast in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- A team-player mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship
Hours:
- 5:45pm- 6am (2-2-3 rotating schedule)

Work Environment
This is a hands-on plant role with exposure to heat, noise, moving equipment, and forklift traffic. Required PPE includes safety glasses and safety shoes (we've got you covered on both).
