General Summary of Job Duties:

The SHG Bartender is responsible for providing superior guest service. Service should be consistent with Standard Operating Procedures. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and the company standards. Anticipate Guest’s needs and problem solving with great judgment skills. Correctly ringing into POS terminals all Guest’s requests, inclusive of all non-routine tasks, as directed, with Teamwork for all co-workers and Guests.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Values.
• Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all bars.
• Handling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales system
• Mixing beverage, serving beverages, food, and amenities in all areas of the bar.
• Marketing and promoting specific events both on property and in public venues
• Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner
• Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis
• Adhere to and enforce company specific safety policies
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with Clark County Health Standards
• Flexibility to perform other job related tasks as deemed necessary by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Having completed a bartending school and a completion certificate is not required, but highly suggested
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers
• Employee must meet viral communication standards in promoting and marketing our venue
• Requires strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne and mixed cocktails
• A minimum of 1-2 years work experience in a high volume bar
• The ability to work within a team environment
