This is a full-time, on-site position located in Chattanooga, TN, for a 1099 Assistant Football Coach in Silverdale Baptist Academy's 6-12 Athletic Program. The Assistant Football Coach will be responsible for supporting the head coach in planning and executing practices, mentoring student-athletes, maintaining required safety standards, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. Additional responsibilities include coordinating game strategies, managing equipment, and fostering a positive environment that aligns with the school’s mission and values.
- Recreational skills with a focus on football coaching, including knowledge of game strategies and practice planning.
- Strong communication skills and experience in providing excellent customer service to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in lifeguarding or supervising safety in a sports environment is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively with a team.
- Relevant athletic experience or certifications, such as coaching education, CPR, or player development programs, are beneficial.
- Familiarity with other athletic programs, such as golf, is an advantage, though not required.
