Job Description
- Manage the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and maintaining close timelines
- Prepare and post journal entries related to assets, liabilities, accruals, and equity activity
- Reconcile banking, corporate card, and investment account activity
- Support accounts payable operations, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements
- Coordinate purchasing workflows, including requisitions and purchase approvals
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support implementation of new financial tools and systems
- Maintain clear documentation for accounting procedures, controls, and key financial processes
- Assist with drafting internal accounting policies and operational guidance documentation
- Support invoicing and customer billing activities as needed
- Prepare recurring management reporting packages and financial summaries
- Analyze financial variances and investigate unusual account activity
- Partner cross-functionally with teams across operations, people, and business functions on finance-related matters
- Support onboarding activities related to finance processes, systems access, and employee guidance
- Assist with audit preparation, reporting requests, and compliance documentation
- Contribute to payroll-related accounting support and other ad hoc finance projects
- Assist with gathering documentation for tax and external reporting requirements
- Stay informed on accounting best practices and emerging industry standards
