Position Summary
The Member Services Clerk / Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily adminstrative and operational functions of the club. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced enviroment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Member Services and Reservations
- Process Reservations, including individual stays and group camping arrangements
- Coordinate tow-on and tow-off scheduling with Rangers
- Collect and process payments for guest fee, storage, rentals, and permits
- Assist Accounting by accepting payments and preparing end-of-day accounting envelopes
Storage Services
- Assist members with initiating storage agreements
- Explain pricing categories and collect signed contracts
- Verify proof of insurance and registration
Opening Procedures
- Retrieve blue bag, bank bag, and keys from Ranger Station
- Check and distribute incoming mail
- Review and organize member departure slips
- Update departure times and process tow-off documentation
Closing Procedures
- Perform daily cash-out and reconcile transactions
- Generate and distribute required daily reports
- Secure bank bag, cash-out envelope, and accounting envelope
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized filing systems for reports and permits
- Provide general office and clerical support
Member Engagement and Events
- Greet members and provide information on park rules and events
- Assist with park events, activities, group camping tagging, packet-making, and decorations
Workplace Standards
- Maintain a clean and professional office enviroment
- Ensure personal workplace is organized and clean
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Valid California Driver's License required

- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
- Performs other duties as assigned by Member Services Supervisor
At-Will Employment
Employment at Silent Valley Club is at-will. This means that either the employee or the Club may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this job description or any other document should be intercepted as creating a contract or employment or altering the at-will nature of employment.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.90 per hour
