The Press Operator is responsible for cutting vinyl siding, diagnosis and troubleshoot malfunctions and recommend corrections.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching. The employee must be able to lift and or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

- Capable of learning how to setup up and operate stamping presses ranging from 20 to 40 ton
- Responsible for setting the tooling and operating the press safely
- Document the production
- Ability to use tools including, but not limited to, calipers, gauges and micrometers
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to problem solve and employ troubleshooting efforts
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Basic math skills and computer skills`
- Ability to read & write in English
- Comprehension of written instructions
- Attention to details
- An ability to safely operate equipment and necessary tools
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
