Punch Press Operator
We are looking for an experienced Punch Press Operator to assist our client in Strongsville, OH.
The Punch Press Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of punch press machinery to cut, shape, and form plastic film and sheet materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift:
- Monday- Friday 7:30am-4pm
Pay:
- $18 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate punch press machines in accordance with production schedules and specifications.
Load raw materials into machines and align materials properly for accurate cutting or shaping.
Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools such as calipers or gauges.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of punch press equipment.
Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns to maintenance or supervision.
Record production data and complete necessary paperwork or digital logs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience operating punch press or similar mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and measurements.
Must be able to read a tape measure
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
