Quality Manager – Aerospace
Meriden, CT
Onsite 5 days/week
A precision manufacturer is looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, audits, and inspection operations at their Meriden, CT site. This role oversees the full AS9100 quality program, guides metrology and CMM standards, and supports the inspection team in meeting demanding customer and production requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System
- Lead quality assurance and inspection teams
- Build inspection plans and set plant-wide CMM guidelines
- Provide expertise on GD&T, SPC, and root-cause problem-solving
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing to drive quality performance
- Identify training needs and support team development
What You Bring
- Experience as a quality inspector plus leadership/supervisory background
- Strong GD&T and SPC/Six Sigma skills
- Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 environments
- Knowledge of aerospace or precision manufacturing processes
- CMM/PC-DMIS experience is a plus
