Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a public accounting firm's Office Manager / Full Charge Bookkeeper Accountant career opportunity. This is a key role replacing a tenured, valued team member who is ready to retire after 20 years! This is an on-site role and not remote nor hybrid. Local No. NV candidates will be given preference as there is no budget for relocation/moving expenses.
This is a key role in the firm - the "glue" for all the Partners and staff and the firm lead. The Managing Partner/Founder is a legacy "Reno-ite" entrepreneur and University of Nevada Reno graduate who started the firm in his 20's age and is notable for the retention of many long term 20 year team members and Partners
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reception
- Phones
- Office Management (supplies, schedules, support the team, etc.)
- Client and internal firm's accounting - full cycle to include financial statement preparation
- Tax support
- Audit support
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Accounting is preferred by not required
- 5 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper
- 2 years experience working in Office Management operations and full cycle accounting for a public accounting tax/audit/accounting firm
- 5 years of experience in QuickBooks, to include QB On-Line
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite 365, with Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with Lacerte, ProSystemsFX, or other tax preparation software
- Fast-paced, professional, "can-do" positive attitude
- Desire to work long-term for a legacy, reputable public accounting firm known for retention
