Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a Reno, NV top start-up organization's Director or Sr. Director of Human Resources. Title and salary offered (ranging $100K - $180K) will be depending on experience, culture fit, compensation requirements, and education / certification / credentials. Local applications are preferred, however, Western Region U.S. applicants with plans to relocate specifically to Northern Nevada may be considered and there is a relocation package available and budgeted for negotiation. This is a very hand-on role (with little or no staff to start), on-site only; not remote nor hybrid.

Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field is required.
- HR Certifications PHR, SPHR, etc. are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in and understanding complex start-up organizations is critically required..
- 10 years in Human Resource Management is required.
- Industry background in Hospitality, Non-Profit, Corporate / Start-up, or Military / Veteran service organizations is a plus.
- Known to be a hands-on, fast-paced, creative, proactive problem solver with advanced emotional intelligence.
- Confident, Adaptable, Flexible, Diplomatic yet Assertive leadership style is the best for culture fit.
- Experience in HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
