How You’ll Make An Impact
- Analyze customer RFQs, specifications, and tender documents for distribution transformers and associated accessories.
- Prepare complete technical and commercial proposals, including pricing, terms and conditions confirmation, and customer requirements working within compliance bounds.
- Ensure proposals meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements (ANSI, IEEE, IEC, DOE, utility standards where applicable).
- Manage proposal timelines, version control, and internal approvals to meet submission deadlines.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs, strategy, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics to confirm feasibility, lead times, and costs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Power Systems, or Business with strong technical exposure.
- 3–5 years’ experience in proposal engineering, technical sales, or applications engineering within the transformer or electrical distribution industry.
- Effective communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office products, familiarity with SalesForce, ability to work independently.
