This role will serve as the liaison between refinery operations, business stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors to ensure successful implementation and rollout of a COTS application used for product quality and laboratory operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis experience within Oil & Gas, Refineries, Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Industrial Operations, or Utilities environments and a proven track record supporting enterprise software implementations.

Candidates with titles such as IT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Functional Business Analyst, Manufacturing Business Analyst, Operations Business Analyst, Industrial Business Analyst, MES Business Analyst, LIMS Business Analyst, or Quality Systems Business Analyst are highly preferred.
Note: Candidates with manufacturing, refinery, industrial, or plant operations experience will be prioritized over those with only banking, healthcare, finance, or general corporate IT backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with refinery users, business stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors.
- Support COTS application upgrades, implementations, and multi-site deployments.
- Create user stories, functional documentation, process flows, and business requirements.
- Coordinate Agile project activities using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Facilitate UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and user adoption.
- Ensure solutions align with operational and business objectives.
- 5 years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Industrial Operations, Chemical Manufacturing, or Utilities.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and software implementation projects.
- Experience supporting COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) applications.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and UAT.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with LIMS, MES, Quality Management Systems (QMS), or other industrial/refinery applications.
- Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience supporting software rollouts across multiple plant or refinery locations.
