Our client is seeking a techno-functional D365 Supply Chain & Distribution Solution Architect with strong experience supporting distribution and eCommerce environments. This is not a Business Analyst or Development role. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on solution architect who can balance day-to-day system ownership with business partnership and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional Solution Architect for Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain within a high-volume distribution business (non-manufacturing).
- Support and optimize D365 Finance & Supply Chain modules, including Finance & Accounting, Purchasing, Product Management, Inventory Management, Sales Order Processing, and Planning.
- Design and enhance end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes across D365 and integrated business applications.
- Act as the primary functional resource for product setup, trade agreements, inventory management, sales order processing, and other daily ERP activities.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable D365 solutions.
- Lead functional design efforts for ERP-related initiatives, including integrations with platforms such as Shopify, TikTok, and other eCommerce applications.
- Work with development teams to define solution roadmaps, integration strategies, and ERP enhancements while remaining actively involved in system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Provide techno-functional expertise around D365 data management, migration processes, security, and integration patterns without serving as a software developer.
- Support capital projects and broader ERP initiatives while ensuring alignment between business processes and system capabilities.
- Strong functional expertise in Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain.
- Experience supporting distribution, wholesale, or eCommerce organizations; manufacturing experience is not required.
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash, Inventory Management, Product Management, Purchasing, and Planning processes.
- Experience working with ERP integrations, particularly with eCommerce platforms and third-party applications.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on Solution Architect, spending approximately 70% of time working directly within D365 and 30% focused on solution strategy, roadmap planning, and business collaboration.
- Strong understanding of D365 data migration, security, and integration best practices.
Salary : $70 - $80
