The Accounts Payable Accounting Analyst will be responsible for managing invoice processing, vendor payments, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
- Process, review, and verify invoices and expense reports accurately and timely
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address and resolve payment or billing issues
- Monitor compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls
- Support audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within accounts payable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, and general ledger systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High degree of integrity and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
