They are looking for a Senior Accountant with the skills to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, compliance, and audit activities while working closely with the Controller and CFO.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support a timely and accurate month-end close.
- Manage fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with Accounts Payable on coding and approvals.
- Oversee accounts receivable and credit card transactions.
- Support compliance reporting, including property taxes, licenses, and unclaimed property.
- Assist with financial reporting and budgeting.
- Provide documentation for interim and year-end audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional communication skills and ability to work with all levels of leadership.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
