What You’ll Do
- Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Oversee AP/AR across multiple entities
- Support annual audit and insurance renewal processes
- Assist with budget preparation and provide financial reporting to both finance and non-finance leaders
- Partner with program leaders on budgets for high-profile community initiatives
- Contribute to payroll support, IRS filings, and compliance needs
- Build relationships across the organization to strengthen financial collaboration
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 years of accounting experience (nonprofit background helpful but not required)
- Strong foundation in general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close
- QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred
- CPA is always welcomed
- A curious, proactive mindset and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-accountants
- Mission-driven perspective and desire to contribute to the community
