Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages for senior leadership.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date financial results, identifying key trends, variances, and business drivers.
- Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and commercial teams to support reporting and business analysis needs.
- Build, maintain, and improve complex Excel models used for forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and operational analysis.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes through reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and financial summaries for leadership meetings.
- Develop and enhance reporting automation and visualization capabilities using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems and reporting platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automate manual processes, and standardize reporting methodologies.
- Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and business initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, reporting, or corporate finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including:
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence/reporting tools preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and organize large amounts of financial and operational data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets is preferred.
- Manufacturing industry experience or exposure to operational finance and cost analysis is a plus.
Sherpa offers benefits to contract employees who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a full-time employee (30 weekly hours/ 130 hours per month) to be eligible
