Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, managing, and directing all manufacturing, plant engineering, customer service, and materials management functions at the high-volume automation plant
- Accountable for meeting plant, division, and corporate goals and objectives in alignment with established policies and procedures
- Ensure safe and efficient operations across all functional areas
- Satisfy customer requirements while maintaining profitability
- Automate system optimization by overseeing continuous improvement including robotics to enhance production and efficiencies
- Lead cross-functional teams in a high-volume automation system that align with production goals
- Drive operation efficiencies by minimizing downtime and streamline processes where needed
- Provide leadership to plan, schedule and organize all staff manufacturing
- Accountable for profitability of the the plant
- Maintain good safety standards for the plant
- 10 years of experience in plant operations including materials management
- 3 years of plant management over operations of a plant
- Experience in a high volume automated plant is preferred
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Management
- MBA is preferred, Six Sigma or Lean Process experience preferred
