We are seeking an HR Advisor to serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, programs, and employee relations matters. This role will act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, investigate workplace concerns, and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent application of company policies and a positive employee experience.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, programs, and employee relations matters.
- Respond to inquiries received through phone, email, and case management systems, providing timely and accurate guidance.
- Interpret and explain company policies related to performance management, disciplinary actions, benefits, compensation, and workplace practices.
- Advise managers on complex employee relations issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Investigate employee concerns, workplace complaints, and policy-related matters, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Research and resolve compensation-related inquiries, including merit increases, promotions, demotions, and pay adjustments.
- Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Operations, and other internal teams to address escalated employee issues.
- Maintain detailed case records and documentation within HR systems.
- Generate reports, conduct research, and support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Assist with translation of HR-related documentation and investigations from Spanish to English, when applicable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist, HR Representative, HR Advisor, Employee Relations, or related role.
- Experience supporting employees and managers within a large or complex organization preferred.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, HR policies, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems, case management platforms, and reporting tools.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Sherpa offers benefits to contract employees who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a full-time employee (30 weekly hours/ 130 hours per month) to be eligible
